Hi! Mary writing. A few months ago I met a wonderful brother in Christ named Francis. Francis is from Dhaka and leads a ministry serving marginalized Muslim children and their families.

Francis told me the story of how God called him to start a ministry: One Christmas morning several years ago Francis and his family noticed a group of kids picking through a dumpster looking for food. Francis, his wife and 2 children decided to bring the kids at the dumpster a meal. One meal turned into regular meals and gatherings now, several years later, Bijoy Ministries serves over 500 children and their families- meeting huge spiritual and physical needs.

Like many fragile cities, Dhaka has been hit hard by the effects of COVID 19. Bijoy Ministries recently distributed food to 100 families. I personally feel very moved by Francis' faith and courage and wanted to extend the invitation to Origins to support his work. US dollars go a long ways in Bangladesh. I'm sure that even the smallest contribution will help make a tangible impact.
