All across America, teenage girls are being sold for sex. It is happening on street corners, in strip clubs and massage parlors, at truck stops, in schools and church groups, and online. These are teen girls who should be living a happy life, filled with friends, shopping, playing sports and instruments, and planning for their future – but instead they are trapped in a life of forced prostitution.
Even when a girl is freed from this life, she doesn’t have many places to turn because there are only about 300 spaces available nationwide – so no warm bed or healthy meals, just more uncertainty of what her next step is and where she will live.
All of these girls deserve safety in God’s love, which you can help give them.
Sarah’s Home is a residential home on the Front Range that works with girls ages 12 to 17 who have been rescued from sex trafficking. Our home also includes a fully accredited, on-site private school, so they can catch up on crucial education they have missed.
Each girl who has come to Sarah’s Home has a different story, and their victories and successes include:
* Improving three reading levels and two math levels in six months
* Playing with dolls because, “I never got to play with a dollhouse and always wanted to.”
* Taking a shower by herself after years of terror because of being repeatedly raped during showers
* Moving her mattress from the floor in the corner to a bed frame in the center of the room after being released from fears of what might be under her bed that could hurt her
* Graduating with a 4.0 GPA and starting college to become a lawyer
* Testifying in court against her pimp
Please join us in impacting the lives of these girls who are each so precious in His sight. Help us be the hands and feet of Christ by joining us in prayer and giving generously to ensure that every girl who comes to Sarah’s Home has a chance to be restored.
